Our parish church will re-open for Masses on Sunday, June 13. This was announced as part of Step 1 of the Ontario Re-opening.  

1. Registration is not required
2. Holy Qurbana is at 4.00 pm
3. Please try to abide by all Covid protocols (Please refer to attached)
4. Once you feel unavailable to come for Qurbana after registration, please inform us via parish email.
5. Please come before 10 minutes.
6. Cooperation and participation of all are very much appreciated.

Continuous Bible Reading: An initiative of Bible Apostolate. We the Cambridge Parish are planning to read the whole Bible in 6 days. It will be a continuous reading by different families. Since this is vacation time, we plan to start by Wednesday morning. From Wednesday 7.00 am to 12.00 am. Each can select a 30-minute slot and the same time slot will be used for six days. Those who wish to join in the continuous Bible Reading please join to the what’s app group link below. We need 30 members to start the process. Many parishes and groups have a success story and may not be so hard. Please join and pray.


Christmas Ceremonies & Cancellation of In-Person Holy Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Cambridge
Dear Parishioners,

In person Holy Mass services scheduled at St Ambrose Church this Sunday, December 20, 2020, next Sunday, December 27, 2020 and Christmas Holy Mass, Wednesday 23, 2020 are CANCELLED due to COVID-19 outbreak of St. Ambrose Parish staff. By order of Bishop Crosby OMI, St. Ambrose Church is CLOSED effective immediately as of December 18 for at least two weeks.

In Person Christmas Holy Mass has been rescheduled to Friday, December 25, 2020 3:00 PM at St. Joseph Church, 409 Paisley Rd, Guelph, ON N1H 2R4.

Please register before Tuesday, December 22, 2020 using the link below for the Christmas Holy Mass. Please note that the number of attendees is strictly restricted, so Registration is Mandatory.

Way of the Cross

As we entered the Season of Lent, it is good to have the Way of the Cross every Friday in the wards. Or the nearest houses can join together and pray the way of the cross.

Family Unit Election

The Family unit election will be held during February, March and April. Please see below for the responsibilities of a Parish Councillor (Section 5 of Bye Laws for Family Units):
  • 5. The responsibilities of the Parish Councillor
    • 5.1.1 The Parish Councillor represents the Family Unit in the parish council
    • 5.1.2 It is the responsibility of the Parish Councillor to ensure the fourfold co-ordination, namely relationship between families, other Co-ordinators, the parish and the eparchy.
    • 5.1.3 It is his /her responsibility to ensure that the regular meeting of the Family Unit is conducted at the assigned family.
    • 5.1.4 Fix the date and place of Family Unit meeting well advanced and inform the Parish Priest and the families.
    • 5.1.5 He/she is responsible for the communication of matters related to the unit to its members through social media.
    • 5.1.6 He/she has to preside over the unit meeting in the absence of the Parish Priest
